Essential Maintenance

Due to unforeseen difficulties with some elements of the website essential maintenance work will commence today (23/2/2009) from 11:00am and should last no more then 24 hours.

I Apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and hope to have the matter resolved swiftly with only limited interruption to service.

*Update* 4:46pm

Maintenance work is completed and all areas of the site are functional and stable once again however more down time may be to come. I will attempt to limit incidents like this as much as possible however sometimes such incidents are unavoidable as it is a matter for my hosting company.

I once again apologise for the down time and any inconveniance that it may have caused.

Photos from the day sheffield stood still are now on-line in the gallery.

For the first time i have released these images using a creative commons 2.0 licence which means that you can use the images within the terms of that licence (more details on the gallery page) without having to request a specific licence, if you would like to use the images please check the licence requirements by clicking on the Creative Commons logo on the Gallery Page.

Also there have been a number of site updates lately, the first of which being the new contact form on the contact me page, this service is kindly provided by Emailmeform.com. This should make getting in contact much easier then ever before.

(Due to errors with the contact form i have had to regrettably remove it from the website until I can find a better alternative)

Also the RSS feed can now be found easily by clicking on the RSS logo on the right hand side of the page under the Around The Web section, this feed has been made compatable with a wide range of RSS and ATOM readers including Google, Yahoo, Windows Live and many more.

I am now also able to provide site news straight to you through the new facebook group which can be found via clicking the facebook Logo also found under the Around The Web section in the right hand side bar.

Finally over the next 2 weeks i also hope to update the existing galleries but they will be more information on that as it happens so keep your eyes open for thoose soon.
