Archive for July, 2009

Hi everyone hope you are well.

Just a quick update to let you know a few things that are going on. I have now uploaded and made public All of the Sheffield Pride 2009 Photographs and they can be viewed in the gallery. The photos are also available over on my Facebook Fan Page so drop by and tag you and your friends and become a fan while your at more updates.

Additionally I am also happy to let you know that I am now taking bookings for Weddings and Civil Partnerships, This is a new area for me and I am hoping to gain some experience before fully moving into this area of photography. Here is a little information.

Simon is currently looking to gain more experience covering Weddings and Civil Partnerships  in order to move into photographing this area (at the same reasonable prices as you have come to expect of him) and would like some volunteers to allow him to photograph their ceremony.

For volunteering Simon will offer you a friendly, honest and reliable service to photograph your Special day and provide you with the images in a format of your choice (Online Download or CD/DVD-Rom)

In return Simon requests that he may have the option to use some of your photos in his portfolio of work and £50 just to cover his basic costs.

Short notice bookings can be accommodated so please do no hesitate to contact me.

Simon Is also looking to cover Engagement parties under the same offer.

For more information please Email:

For some examples of some of the work I have all ready done please select the Weddings & Civil Partnerships option on the right hand side of the page.

And finally I just wanted to let you know that I have had some images published in Shout! – South Yorkshires queer paper. My photos from Sheffield Pride have been used as part of the article on the event, Shout! can be downloaded online or copies are available in most Gay Venues around Sheffield .

Hi everyone, I hope you are well.

Firstly I would just like to apologize for the lack of updates recently, as you may have guessed it really has been a busy month or so for me which has left me with very little time to do much at all.

So quick rundown of what is, and has been, happening:

Spring Out:

once again I had the privilege to work for the centre for HIV on this years Sping Out Event,  A fun day for all involved with activities that provided something for everyone.

Sheffield Pride & Poptastic Afterparty:

This month saw me working with the Sheffield Pride committee doing the photography for the first ever Sheffield Pride. A truely marvelous event which really brought the gay community together, an event which can only go from strength to strength in the coming years.

The evening then saw me working with the Poptastic Crew from Manchester at the Official Sheffield Pride Poptastic Afterparty, again another great event with a brilliant turnout. These are the types of jobs I enjoy most, working with some superb people.

There has been a delay in getting the photos online for Both Pride and the After Party but I promise, they are coming soon (I’m uploading them as I type this)

The photos are now online, and you can tag your family and friends over on the gallery available on the Facebook Fan Page, While your there don’t forget to become a fan for more updates.

Still to come:

If you head over to my events page you will see that I have a number of events coming up including some work with “For The Peeps Who Don’t Sleep” This Saturday As well as coverage of protests, (Due to Unforeseen Circumstances these are now being rearranged). , Flashmobs, and Viva Climax.

So with a bit of luck the good weather will quickly return and we can all get back to our Shorts, BBQ’s and Summer Fun soon enough. (also with a bit of luck I’ll be able to keep the site more up to date)

See you next time
